Have you met Lovely? As I begin this journey of writing about Lovely, I have come to remember the many fun and hidden memories of childhood. My brother and I had the chickenpox one summer. I don’t know what was worse–the pox pain or the front step quarantine to which we were confined! I also recall playing tag outdoors. Us kids had SO much fun determining who would be the next one “it”!
As an adult, this game takes on a different meaning. It reminds me of those wise words “so I do not run like one who runs aimlessly or box like one beating the air…” Today, when I run or play tag, I play on a different level. My purpose is to get someone else in the game, see who may be moving a little slow or not as alert. I engage adults and children in hopes of increasing endurance, motivating the group, and experiencing the joy of just being able to play!
Get off the front step and into the game! Join Lovely and her friends as we discover new adventures of kindness and fun!
